Before your first trip: a Coody setup checklist

Know your version, check the kit and find the right packing film before your first campsite arrival.

A family relaxing beside a Coody air tent

Your first campsite arrival is easier to plan when you already know your equipment. Use this checklist to organize the preparation, then follow the instructions for your exact tent when you pitch it.

Identify the exact tent

Keep the model name, version and selected color with your order details. Instructions for a Hub Shelter, Aurora Dome or PRO model should not be treated as interchangeable. This matters for the floor, openings, valves and connecting accessories as well as the overall layout.

Check what is in the package

Our six core tent listings include a manual hand pump and rainfly. Electric pumps and wood stoves are separate unless the selected listing explicitly says otherwise. Review the itemized product information for stakes, guy lines, panels and bags; do not use another campsite’s equipment list as your packing list.

Lay out your planned beds and furniture against the product dimensions. Check the site footprint and the space you need to transport the packed equipment. Confirm any connector before taking a second shelter.

Find both the setup and packing instructions

The Support page includes original Coody Korea films for 10.0 PRO packing, Familia PRO packing, Hub Shelter 13 setup and Aurora Dome packing. They retain their original model names. Audio and on-screen text may be Korean; available captions depend on the film.

Use the inflation pressure and procedure stated for your exact model and pump. If you cannot identify the correct instructions, ask our team with your model and a photo of the valve. A single pressure figure should not be applied across the whole range.

Plan for the end of the trip

Fully dry the canvas before storage. If you need to pack up wet, arrange a suitable place to dry the tent before storing it. Check the fabric and air beams during normal care and follow the relevant folding instructions.

Keep the support details together

If something needs attention, send your order number or proof of purchase, the model and version, a description of the symptoms, and photos or a short video. Our contact form is the place to start before sending equipment for inspection or repair.
